Further Details
RDBL provided many savings across the scheme, by reducing the quantity of piles and size of foundations, as well as proving that the existing hard standings were suitable for piling from. Thus removing the need for a proposed new temporary piling platform. Soil testing was carried out and the design then amended so that only inert materials were excavated with existing sub-base tested and reused in the new construction. Existing drainage was surveyed and pile positions designed around the existing drainage to ensure it did not need removing and renewing.
New drainage was installed to suit the revised external levels with new manholes and drainage runs, the practical design approach kept costs within the allocated client budget. A new car park was requested and a full survey, design and installation carried out including line marking.
